+I see. Obviously it wasn't the correct way to communicate, as discussion pages are about the page they are attached to. Still getting used to this system. \\

Yeah well, you don't get to change my own user-page of course (which is the page you are currently commenting on).\\ If you think you can contribute some good knowledge, however small you consider it to be, there is absolutely nothing against creating a new page in the HOWTOS section for that. Small edits on existing pages will not get the attention your update might deserve. And maybe after starting a page, you discover that there's more you can write on the topic? Good luck!\\  --- //[[wiki:user:alienbob|Eric Hameleers]] 2023/12/02 17:55 (UTC)// Yeah well, you don't get to change my own user-page of course (which is the page you are currently commenting on).\\ If you think you can contribute some good knowledge, however small you consider it to be, there is absolutely nothing against creating a new page in the HOWTOS section for that. -Howdy again,
-I have been, and I itch to add little "fixes" to things on this page that might also be of interests to others. Right now I'm on Wayland/KDE on a fresh installation, and again I was faced with a Wayland/KDE issue (which is also by proxy a default Slackware 15 issue). It's a tiny issue, with a tiny fix. More specifically, it is an issue with "tap to click" for touchpads (mouse) on laptops, using Wayland/KDE not working by default, and having no clear solution. Looking online people will dig around and find mostly wrong solutions to this issue. The solution is however very simple.
-
-The problem I'm facing is that it doesn't seem appropriate to add an article about it. I did however do that for a similar thing for QEMU/KVM "little issues" that didn't warrant an article in themselves, but then again, that software is not a default part of Slackware 15.0 and perhaps it wasn't smart to add such an article.
-
-I was however wondering if there could be a place for those kind of things here on the page, or some format to do those kind of things in a more uniform way.\\
