[2024-feb-29] Sad news: Eric Layton aka Nocturnal Slacker aka vtel57 passed away on Feb 26th, shortly after hospitalization. He was one of our Wiki's most prominent admins. He will be missed.

-Really the only people who can understand what is useful to help someone understand  something is a similar person at the same level. 
  
-I managed to have a slackbuild accepted; following what is out there on slackbuilds.+my expertize if I have any in web development mainly php

-There is of course more than one approach to writing a slackbuild. At the moment if you want to submit a slackbuild you have to use a template. I would like to start a page entitled "anatomy of a slackbuild". On that page I would attempt to explain what each section does. I know it would have helped me and I am sure it would help others.
