I currently maintain latex2html at slackbuilds latex2html

Really the only people who can understand what is useful to help someone understand something is a similar person at the same level.

I managed to have a slackbuild accepted; following what is out there on slackbuilds.

There is of course more than one approach to writing a slackbuild. At the moment if you want to submit a slackbuild you have to use a template. I would like to start a page entitled “anatomy of a slackbuild”. On that page I would attempt to explain what each section does. I know it would have helped me and I am sure it would help others.
