[2024-feb-29] Sad news: Eric Layton aka Nocturnal Slacker aka vtel57 passed away on Feb 26th, shortly after hospitalization. He was one of our Wiki's most prominent admins. He will be missed.

Web development in its purest form involves for example writing and editing pure php. To develop you have to take into possible vulnerability. The connection (maybe just to me) between development and testing is that testing is best done local. If after carrying out pen-testing a WordPress app, you find it wanting , then further work is needed. Maybe adding new plugins might not be considered  as "web development" in the true sense of the word but it is still progress and development.+Eric,
