[2024-feb-29] Sad news: Eric Layton aka Nocturnal Slacker aka vtel57 passed away on Feb 26th, shortly after hospitalization. He was one of our Wiki's most prominent admins. He will be missed.

I started to use Slackware since just prior to Slamd64 12.0.0 being released, after buying my first x86_64 processor. Actually I also run Slackware Live Edition and Slackware ARM on a Raspberry Pi.
